The Women’s Fall Classic returns October 30th-November 2nd, 2025

Ensure the Club’s Success and Growth – Join the NGCC Board of Directors!
We’re looking for dedicated members to join our Board of Directors!
Available Positions:
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Communications & Public Relations
- Bar Management
- Member Engagement
Board positions are essential to the continued success and future growth of our club. To maintain our current structure and align with opportunities to expand, it is crucial that these roles are filled by dedicated members.
Without committed individuals stepping into these leadership positions, the strain on our existing board will grow, and the effects will inevitably be felt throughout the club. As a fully volunteer-run organization, we rely entirely on the willingness of our members to step up and contribute at the board level. Without this support, our systems and operations simply cannot function.
Your involvement is not just valued—it is vital. Together, we can ensure the club thrives for years to come.
- Members do not need any experience in the particular portfolio, just a willingness to action the items that come up within the portfolio and work with fellow board members for guidance
- Board members should count on an average of 5 hours or time per week needed to be successful in the role. Roles will require some more time a peak point within the season. This would include internal conversations, emails, review topics and implement and action the items needed.
- Once a month Board meeting where you will learn the background of what keeps our club functioning. This is a great opportunity to get support and guidance from existing board members.
- Engage other members to assist in the activities needed to have a successful portfolio.
*** New calendar feature in Curling I/O ***
It is now possible to subscribe to the calendar for your league (or any NGCC league!) Of course, this assumes that your league convenor has setup the teams and draws online (which is true for most leagues).
All you need to do is go to Curling I/O, logon, and click on “Account” (top right). Click on “Calendars”. A page will be displayed that allows you to subscribe to your team calendars, any league calendar, or your events calendar. Give it a try… gone are the days of manually entering your games in your personal calendar!
How to find your team, schedule, and standings (and spares)
Go to Curling I/O and click on the league of interest (https://north-grenville.curling.io, click on Account, click on My Leagues)
- To find your teams, click on “Teams”
- To find spares for your league, click on “Spares” (contains email addresses and phone numbers)
- To find your schedule, standings, or team schedule, click on “Schedule and Results”
- Click on “Schedule” to see the draw schedule
- Click on “Standings” to see the team standings (click on your team name to see your results)
- Click on “Teams” and then your team name to see your team’s schedule
